The latest British and European children’s furniture standards EN1729 ensures that educational furniture that complies with this standard is safe for growing children, as well as use in multi-use learning environments where children and adults of all ages have access to suitably proportioned furniture.
The standard aims to create a healthy learning environment where backache and poor seating posture in children is vastly reduced. The standard not only applies to children’s chairs, but is also relevant to children’s tables. That’s why we have endeavoured to include a diverse selection of circular and modular height adjustable tables in our Education Furniture range.
Not only do our children’s height adjustable tables comply with EN1729, but they also include bullnose MDF edging for extra safety. Education Furniture customers can also opt for table tops in a choice of colours to suit their classroom’s decor scheme. Please note that our tables require minor self assembly on delivery.
