FAQs

Can you source products not listed on your site?

Yes we have access to a large stock of products, and due to the volume of products available to us, we are continually updating our online store. But if you are looking for a specific product, then give us a call or drop us an email with a picture of the product and the quantity that you require, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Can I get your products in a custom colour?

A selection of our products can be made with custom colours, and this is usually indicated in the product description. Please call us for more information about this service and whether your product is customisable. 

How long does delivery take?

Delivery usually takes between 1 to 3 working days on stock items, and up to 4 weeks on made-to-order products. This should be inidicated in the product description. We can do Next Day delivery on certain education furniture items, but it is best to call the sales line on 0845 848 3616 for more information on applicable products and to ascertain stock levels.

Do you offer a discount for bulk orders?

Absolutely! We supply a lot of schools and local governments, and are happy to offer discounts on bulk orders. The term 'bulk order' is not a fixed term, as it depends on each product's dimensions and volume. If you'd like to find out whether your order qualifies for bulk discount, call our Sales Line on 0845 838 3616 today. 

Will I incur a delivery charge?

We offer Free Delivery to all UK Mainland addresses. For Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and other non-mainland UK addresses, please call our Sales Line to ascertain delivery charges. 

What happens if my order is delivered damaged?

No problem. We usually ask for photos to be sent through so that we can see what has been damaged and whether a specific product part can be replaced, or whether a full product placement needs to be issued. We will always replace the damaged-in-transit items where we can with a new item or part. For instance, if the base of an office chair is damaged, we will send out a replacement base. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details on Damaged Deliveries.

Can I return delivered products?

Of course. Just log in to your account and find the order that you want to reutrn. Select the returns button and fill out the form with all the details. Handling charges will apply in certain situations, so please be sure to check our Terms and Conditions for full details.  Please note that unless the product is being returned due to a manufacturing fault or supplier error, there will be a handling charge of 50% of the value of the invoice. Additionally, if the returned products need boxing, a charge of £15 per tiem will be implemented. 

How long have you been in this industry?

Our top sales staff have over 30 years' experience in the furniture industry, including working directly on the factory floor making the products, all the way through to leading a sales department. We have worked with schools and local governments during this time. This means, as an Education Furniture customer, you can be sure of good advice, excellent service AND competitive pricing! 

Can you plan our interior space for us?

Yes, we can, and we can plan your space for FREE. 

We do need you to email us the followung information:

  • Complete room dimensions, including the position of doors, windows, power points and other permanent fixtures
  • The room/space capacity (e.g. for classrooms & canteens, how many seats are required) 
  • The dimensions and shape of the products (including standalone products) required (e.g. desks, chairs, storage)

For larger installations, we can arrange for one of our sales representatives to visit the site and produce the above detailed requirements for you. Just call our sales line on 0845 838 3616 to arrange this. 

You seem to be a lot cheaper than other companies - why is this?

We have worked on creating excellent long-standing history with furniture suppliers, and always endeavour to create and sustain good relationships with any new suppliers. We buy most of our furniture in bulk, allowing us to purchase our website stock at low prices that are then passed onto you, our customer.  

Are the products on your website guaranteed?

Each product comes with its own individual guarantee, in line with the manufacturer's guarantee. Each guarantee can be found in the item's product description.
